I’m Tommy Evans, owner of Tetrim Carpentry LLC and a Marine veteran. Tetrim is an owner-operated carpentry business serving the Lake Norman area of North Carolina.
I work with homeowners, general contractors, and builders on trim and finish carpentry, decks and porches, custom woodwork, and repair and remodel projects. Whether I’m finishing a new home or improving an existing space, I care about how the pieces fit, how the details line up, and how the finished work comes together.
Accountability means taking ownership of the work and communicating clearly about the scope. I want you to understand what your estimate includes and to discuss changes before moving forward. My goal is straightforward: thoughtful craftsmanship and work I can stand behind.

Front Porch Rebuild
Replaced an aging porch and stairs, rebuilt the railing with pressure-treated lumber and black aluminum balusters, and enclosed the underside with a custom storage-access door.
Deck Stair & Railing Repair
Repair to existing deck stairs and a railing section, managed by Tetrim Carpentry LLC. Tetrim coordinated the work and handled the final walkthrough; most installation labor was performed by a subcontractor.
